“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” -Walt Disney
And right now, Chloe Adkins, 24, is making her dreams come true. She landed in the aviation field in 2022 after searching Indeed for a job, found one in the baggage office at Eppley Airfield in Omaha, Nebraska, where she applied, accepted said job, and “fell in love with the industry.”
The job only fueled her desire to become more involved in aviation. She graduated this spring from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation and a Concentration in Air Transport Administration. This fall, she plans on starting her master’s degree in Airport and Air Mobility Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Nearing the end of her degree, Chloe knew she wanted a position at an FBO in Council Bluffs, where she’s lived her entire life, and she began working at Council Bluffs FBO in March as a Customer Service Representative. She credits CBF’s GM, Alex Long, for supporting her and providing her with continuous opportunities to learn and grow.
She enjoys being immersed in all aspects of aviation (she’s even obtained her Part 107 license, also known as the Remote Pilot Certificate to fly drones) and the small-company atmosphere at CBF. She’s most passionate about “providing top-tier service to crew and passengers on their journey to and from our airport. I enjoy being a part of their travel story and being able to create a memorable experience for them.”
“Chloe is a fantastic addition to our team because she naturally connects with customers, stays composed under pressure, and works so well with others,” added Alex. “She truly embodies the spirit of our team, and we’re so lucky to have her.”
When she’s not at CBF, she enjoys spending time with her family, making jewelry, all things Disney, and traveling (she’s already been to 13 countries).

Cool Aircraft Spotted at Apex ✈️
This Grumman TBF Avenger recently landed at our GPH location. It’s the same kind that George H. W. Bush flew during WWII.
