Gunner Baker
Gunner Baker
Gunner Baker, 24, is one of our outstanding line service techs at our TRL FBO in Terrell, Texas. He’s been with Apex Aero Center for about 1.5 years and truly enjoys the relationships he’s built with the tenants at this FBO.
As a child growing up in Forney, TX, Gunner wanted to be one of the bounty hunters from Star Wars, but we’re grateful he opted for a path in aviation instead. Aside from his love of flying, he’s a huge music fan, and you can regularly find him on the rail at a nearby concert. He’s also an avid collector of posters from all the concerts he attends.
Gunner’s to-live-by motto is “The world is yours,” which comes from the movie Scarface.
“Gunner is incredibly helpful and kind to everyone,” said Kyle DeCoster, general manager at TRL. “We’re fortunate to have him on the team and always enjoy his stories about his latest escapades.”

New Construction at TRL
We’re on track with construction on this new fuel farm at our TRL FBO in Terrell, Texas. ETA for completion is mid-fourth quarter. The farm will hold two 12,000-gallon tanks. One will hold Jet-A fuel, and another will hold Avgas, with self-service options for each.
It’s Game Day Somewhere
Whether you’re into college football or the NFL — there’s a game going on somewhere this season. And if your team is playing in the Midwest or central part of the US, chances are there’s an Apex Aero Center close by.
Let our team do all the heavy lifting by taking care of your aircraft and running any interference, so all you have to do is fly in, pick up your rental car, and be on your way to cheer loudly.
What a Stellar Review
The rest of the review from Dean about the stellar service he received at our GPH FBO after being redirected by a storm: “Got diverted to Midwest due to weather going into Lee’s Summit and was pleasantly greeted by Amy at Apex Aero Center. She assisted me with tie downs to secure my plane from the approaching storm. Great service and hospitality. A definite stop!!”
