We caught up with our newest Line Service Technician at Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport FBO and asked him a few questions.
Employed since early summer, Cadin came to us on a friend’s recommendation. He had told Cadin how “Great it was to work at Apex and how well he was treated compared to every other job he’d ever had, and that the FBO team supports you.”
Cadin shared, “I’ve never been in an aviation job until now. My coworkers constantly help me learn about the aircraft we service and other useful tidbits and facts to help me grow.”
His favorite aspect of his role with Apex so far is “Meeting the pilots and being able to hear their stories and see their planes.”
Outside of Apex, Cadin enjoys playing guitar and studying astronomy. His favorite quote comes from the Oscar Wilde short story “The Remarkable Rocket”: "I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying."
“During these few months, we’ve enjoyed Cadin’s humor and his ability to quickly grasp his role at Apex Aero Center,” said Justin Skaggs, general manager at GOK. “We look forward to continuing to guide his growth in the aviation field.”

Update on our Fuel Farm
We’re still on track with construction for our new fuel farm at TRL FBO in Terrell, Texas, to be up and ready by mid-fourth quarter.
In case you missed it, the farm will have two 12,000-gallon tanks—one for Jet-A fuel and one for Avgas, with self-service options for each.

Runway Watch:
Cool Aircraft Spotted at Apex ✈️
These T-6 models recently flew in and out of our GPH FBO. They were modified to replicate Japanese aircraft for use in the movie “Tora! Tora! Tora!” (and others) and are now maintained by the Commemorative Air Force.
