Apex Team Spotlight:
Braydon O'Rear
Line Service Tech, GPH
Braydon O’Rear has been part of the Apex GPH team for over a year, and in that time, he has stood out for his dedication, integrity, and positive attitude. Whether he's assisting customers, supporting his teammates or tackling day-to-day responsibilities on the ramp.
Braydon is a 2025 graduate of Kearney High School where he balanced school with his growing passion for aviation. Now Braydon is actively pursuing his dream in the sky as a student pilot, currently working toward his private pilot's license.
Aviation runs deep in his family. His grandfather, Major Robert Clifton Edmunds Jr., was a U.S. Air Force pilot who flew the F-105D during the Vietnam War. Maj. Edmunds made the ultimate sacrifice when his aircraft was lost over North Vietnam in 1968.
Braydon’s father, Chuck, also carried on that legacy, serving as a C-130 and MH-6 Little Bird pilot, as well as flying Blackhawks. Today, Chuck continues his career in aviation with Equity Jet.

Apex – TRL Earns CAA Preferred Status!
Apex Aero Center – Terrell (TRL) has officially been voted in as a CAA Preferred FBO! A big thank-you goes out to everyone who cast their vote and supported us in this process. We’re honored to serve the CAA community with the highest level of service and value. With this exciting news, both our Terrell, TX (TRL) and Kansas City (GPH) locations are now CAA Preferred FBOs—another milestone for our growing network.
Congratulations, Arris & Gloria!
We’re excited to share some wonderful news from our Apex family! Last month, our GPH General Manager, Arris Pardalos, proposed to his girlfriend Gloria at the breathtaking Temple of Poseidon in Sounion, Greece—and she said yes! We couldn’t be happier for Arris and Gloria as they begin this new chapter, we wish them a lifetime filled with love, adventure, and unforgettable moments!
Young Eagles Rally at TRL
We’re honored to support the next generation of aviators! Apex Aero Center is excited to be a sponsor of the upcoming EAA Chapter 1078 Young Eagles Rally at Terrell Municipal Airport on Saturday, September 13th. Kids ages 8–17 will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of flight with a free airplane ride, sparking inspiration and a love for aviation. We’re looking forward to seeing the smiles take off!
2025 BBQ & Fly-In
Apex Aero Center GPH was proud to sponsor last month’s BBQ & Fly-In on the river in Excelsior Springs Missouri. A highlight of the weekend was the incredible “KC Flight” flyover, we were honored to serve as their staging area.
Tenant Hangout at TRL
Join us for some good eats and great company! Apex will be grilling hot dogs and providing chips and sodas. Bring your own favorite to throw on the grill if you’d like! We’re looking forward to an afternoon of swapping stories, talking planes, and enjoying time together on the ramp!
