Apex Team Spotlight:

Patric Wilson

Line Service Tech, GOK

Meet Patric Wilson, a proud Edmond, OK native and one of our dedicated Line Service Techs at Apex Aero Center GOK. Patric recently earned his commercial pilot rating and has his sights set on a future in corporate aviation.

When he’s not on the ramp or building hours in his cherished 1948 Ercoupe, you’ll find Patric spending time with his wife of two months, Angela, or leading his church’s men’s Bible study group.

GOK General Manager, Justin Skaggs, had this to say, “Patric’s superpower is his ability to think ahead. He anticipates everything passengers and pilots might need and ensures it’s ready the moment they arrive on the ramp. Patric is an aviation lifer with a bright future ahead!”

We’re proud to have Patric on our team!

What a Month at PVB!

It’s been a busy and exciting July at our PVB location in Platteville, Wisconsin! With EAA AirVenture just down the road, the energy in the air has been contagious. The Heuer Classic aerobatics competition was a soaring success, Platteville skies were filled with impressive performances! Last weekend, Scouting America Troop 82 served up a delicious pancake breakfast at PVB, and it was just as big of a hit with great food, good company, and strong community support. Big thanks to all the organizers and everyone who joined us, we loved celebrating aviation with you!

Scouts Earn Aviation Merit Badge at GOK

Scouts from Scouting America recently visited Apex Aero Center GOK to earn their Aviation Merit Badge! The hands-on experience gave them a closer look at aircraft, airport operations, and the exciting world of aviation. We’re always proud to support the next generation of aviators!

Fireworks Lit Up the Sky at TRL!

Freedom Fest at Terrell Municipal Airport ended with a bang—literally! The fireworks lit up the night sky and capped off an unforgettable evening of community, celebration, and patriotism. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success out at the airport!
