Santa stopped in at three of our Apex Aero Center locations over the holiday season, spreading holiday cheer and bringing smiles to our communities. Families enjoyed festive snacks, took photos with Santa, and got up close to some incredible aircraft. It was a joy to share our love of aviation with everyone who joined us!

Discover the History of Terrell Municipal Airport (TRL)
Terrell Municipal Airport (TRL) boasts a fascinating history, including its pivotal role during World War II as the site of the No. 1 British Flying Training School. Visitors can catch a glimpse of this rich heritage through a dedicated display in the airport lobby, showcasing artifacts and stories from the era when British pilots trained in Terrell.
Adding to its charm, the airport terminal features a unique floor design—a map of Texas overlaid with Western Europe, symbolizing its historic connection to the international aviation community.
As the new FBO at TRL, Apex Aero Center is thrilled to share this remarkable airport with all of our Apex family. Make sure to stop by the NO. 1 British Flying Training School Museum in Terrell to delve even deeper into the history of the TRL Airport and its significant contributions during World War II.
