Introducing Apex Aero Center
We’re excited to share that Apex Executive Jet Center is changing it’s name to Apex Aero Center! This name change better reflects the full range of aviation services we offer, beyond just executive jet operations.
Over the next several months our organization will be expanding and offering new services, making the new name a better fit for our growing team. Our updated identity, including a fresh logo, highlights our commitment to delivering top-quality services to pilots, aircraft owners, and aviation professionals.
While our name has changed, our dedication to exceptional service remains the same. Welcome to Apex Aero Center!
Community Days at Guthrie Edmond GOK
The turnout at Community Days at Guthrie Edmond Airport was incredible! It was great to see so many aviation enthusiasts and local families come together to celebrate. With exciting aircraft displays, interactive booths, and great conversations, the event was a huge success in bringing the community closer to the world of aviation. Thanks to everyone who joined us!
Sharing the Magic of Flight with Challenge Air
Challenge Air recently hosted their annual event at MKC, where Apex Executive Jet President, Kyle Eiserer, had the pleasure of flying with three enthusiastic co-pilots who helped navigate a short sightseeing trip around the city. Smiles were all around after the flights. A big thank you to Challenge Air for allowing us to share the magic of flight with such amazing co-pilots!
Employee Spotlight: Tyler Klee
We're excited to introduce this month's employee spotlight, Tyler Klee, who joined Apex GPH in March 2024. Tyler is an instrument-rated pilot working toward his commercial rating, and his love for aviation shines through as he flies at least four times a week! When he's not in the skies, you can find Tyler working as a dispatcher at ATD or cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Kansas City Royals, where he holds season tickets.
In his downtime, Tyler enjoys hanging out with friends and playing College Football 25 on his PlayStation 5. Before joining Apex, he worked for United Airlines at the international airport, bringing with him a wealth of experience.
GPH General Manager, Arris Pardalos shares, “Tyler is an enjoyable person to be around. He always has a positive attitude and a never-say-no mentality.” We're lucky to have Tyler on the Apex team!
Runway Rockstars
We've been spotting some amazing aircraft at our Apex locations! From sleek private jets to vintage planes, there's never a dull moment. Whether it's a rare aircraft making a stop or state-of-the-art models on display, the variety of planes passing through keeps our team and visitors excited. Keep an eye out you never know what unique aircraft you’ll see next at Apex!
Check out this gorgeous 1948 Cessna 195 that stopped by our GOK location the other day. The person who polishes it deserves accolades!
The Commemorative Air Force brought out their DC3 to GOK. A local radial engine shop recently rebuilt 2 Steerman engines for their squadron in Lancaster TX. No better way to transport historical engines than by historical aircraft!
Looking for Something Different? Fly-In to PVB for the Lighting of the M!
The Lighting of the M is a one-of-a-kind experience! Built in 1937 by University of Wisconsin Platteville students, the iconic "M" on Platte Mound is the world’s largest at 241 feet tall and 214 feet wide, representing the University’s mining heritage. Once a year during UW-Platteville’s homecoming, the outline of the "M" is lit with over 200 kerosene-filled coffee cans, creating a spectacle visible from miles away. The lighting will be followed by a fireworks display, so don’t miss this chance to join in a Platteville tradition! This years event will take place Saturday on Oct. 12 at 9:00 p.m. at 18600 W Mound Rd. Platteville, WI 53818.
